Our humble beginnings.

Our initial company was founded in 2016 following the successful implementation of a large U.S. Department of Education grant awarded to Rutgers University and Arizona State University, which focused on school improvement through principal and teacher evaluation and professional development through instructional coaching. Completion of the grant culminated in the development of the first version of ReadyCoach platform, which included a suite of coaching assessments, reports and interventions tools that were effective in facilitating data-driven instructional coaching.

Since the application and assessments received enthusiastic reviews from participants in numerous high-poverty charter schools, we decided to make the first version of the system available to a wider audience of schools and practitioners. This was accomplished through additional federal grants dedicated to developing and implementing research-based coaching tools and trainings to individuals and organizations interested in student-centered and data-driven instructional coaching. These grants allowed us to further develop and validate the unique features of the application including computer algorithms for automated student groupings and intervention recommendations.
