Our Policy has been designed and created to ensure those who visit our website, use our products, software and services, know of our commitment to maintain the privacy of their confidential and personal information.

Information You Input into our Products

To utilize our products and services, you will have to enter confidential personally identifiable information about your students and others into our data bases. We refer to this information as “Data.” Data that you enter into our data bases and products through our website will be maintained on secure servers controlled by third parties. Access to your account’s Data is password-protected and restricted to individuals authorized by you. RC Corp and the entities responsible for the servers onto which Data is entered will not release the Data without your written permission, except as required by law, regulation, subpoena, or administrative process. You must maintain security for this Data through your computer system.

Information We Collect

In addition to the information you input into our system about your students and others in order to use RC Corp’s products and services, RC Corp will collect demographic information about you and your students on an anonymous basis and will collect other information you provide us for billing and other purposes, such as your name and address. Except for the use of such information to contact you and to receive your input regarding our products and services, any use we may make of the Data you provide to us or information we collect from you will be done in a manner that does not disclose personally identifiable information. Please rest assured that RC Corp will only collect personally identifiable information that you knowingly and willingly provide to us by the way of applications, surveys, completed forms and emails. It is the intent of the site to use personal information only for the purpose for which it was requested, and any additional uses specifically provided for in this Policy. All personally identifiable information will be kept private to the extent possible and permitted by law, and whenever possible will not be included within RC Corp’s or its designees’ valid secondary uses of Data. No individual will be identifiable in any report or publication resulting from these secondary uses. It is always up to you whether to disclose personally identifiable information and other Data to us, although if you elect not to do so, you will not be able to properly use our programs and we reserve the right the right not to register you as a user or provide you with any products or services.

RC Corp takes precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline. Wherever we collect sensitive information, that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the webpage. While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, user support) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers and servers in which personally identifiable information is stored for us are kept in a secure environment. This is all done to prevent any loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure or modification of the user’s personal information under our control We also use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) for authentication and private communications to build users’ trust and confidence in the internet and website use by providing simple and secure access and communication of credit card and personal information.

Why We Collect Information and For How Long

The data and information you input into our programs regarding your students and their educational needs is used for making educational decisions as directed by you through the use of our programs. In addition, we may use this information on an anonymous basis and any demographic information we collect from you to better understand your needs and provide you with the services requested and for conducting research to improve our products and services. The information you provide to us such as your name, address and other personal information will be used to provide our services to you, to contact you to obtain your opinion and feedback regarding our products and services, and to send you promotional materials. The data we collect from you will be kept for no longer than necessary. The length of time we retain your data will be determined based upon the following criteria: the length of time your personal information remains relevant; the length of time it is reasonable to keep records to demonstrate that we have fulfilled our duties and obligations; any limitation periods within which claims might be made; any retention periods prescribed by law or recommended by regulators, professional bodies or associations; the type of contract we have with you, the existence of your consent, and our legitimate interest in keeping such information as stated in this Policy.

Limitations on the Use of the Data you Provide and the Information We Collect

RC Corp does not now, nor will it in the future, sell, rent or lease any of its customer lists and/or names to any third parties, nor will it sell, rent or lease any of the information you input into our programs regarding your students and colleagues.

RC Corp will not use or disclose the information provided by you except under the following circumstances:

as necessary to provide services or products you have ordered.
in other ways described in this Policy or to which you have otherwise consented.
in the aggregate with other information in such a way so that your identity cannot reasonably be determined.
as required by law, or in response to a subpoena or search warrant.
to outside auditors who have agreed to keep the information confidential
as necessary to enforce the Terms of Service.
as necessary to maintain, safeguard and preserve all the rights and property of RC Corp.

Non-Marketing Purposes

RC Corp respects your privacy. We do maintain and reserve the right to contact you if needed for non-marketing purposes (such as bug alerts, security breaches, account issues, and/or changes in products and services). In certain circumstances, we may use our website, newspapers, or other public means to post a notice.

Students’ Information

RC Corp recognizes that you will be inputting data and information regarding your students in order to use the programs and services provided by RC Corp. RC Corp and the companies which maintain the servers on which such information is stored and which provide maintenance and other services to RC Corp. will exercise their best efforts to maintain the confidentiality of such information. You must also exercise your best efforts to ensure that third parties do not access this information through your personal computer or your network. In the User Agreement between us, you have agreed to indemnify RC Corp, and its designees and hold them harmless from any liability that arises as a result of the failure by you, your school system or employer to maintain the confidentiality of all information regarding your students and colleagues which you input into our products.

Unsubscribe or Opt-Out

All users and visitors to our website have the option to discontinue receiving communications from us by way of email or newsletters. To discontinue or unsubscribe from our website please send an email that you wish to unsubscribe to (info@readycoach.net). RC Corp will continue to adhere to this Policy with respect to any personal information collected before you unsubscribed or opted out.

Our website contains links to other websites. RC Corp does not claim nor accept responsibility for any privacy policies, practices and/or procedures of other such websites. Therefore, we encourage all users and visitors to be aware when they leave our website and to read the privacy statements of every website that collects personally identifiable information. RC Corp’s operations are located primarily in the United States. If you provide information to us, the information will be transferred out of the European Union (EU) and sent to the United States. (The adequacy decision on the EU-US Privacy became operational on August 1, 2016. This framework protects the fundamental rights of anyone in the EU whose personal data is transferred to the United States for commercial purposes. It allows the free transfer of data to companies that are certified in the US under the Privacy Shield.)
